MICROBIOME HOMOGENIZING MIX

Microbial DNA free Bead Ruptor bead beating tubes are molecular biology grade, nuclease free tubes, pre-filled with an optimized amount of lysing matrix to provide efficient and high yield sample homogenates. Products are rigorously tested using microbial DNA PCR assays.

 

Extracting microbial DNA from samples can be challenging. Without complete lysis and recovery of targeted intracellular analytes, tougher to lyse samples will be misrepresented as smaller percentages of populations, and other easier to lyse organisms will be overrepresented. These misrepresentations, established by the initial sample preparation, alter the accuracy and, consequently, our understanding of the data produced.
